Hey, friends!! The feast of St.Joseph is coming!! As what we know, St Joseph is known as the patron of workers. This reminds us that we have to pray for the workers all around the world as they are the people who make this world a better place to live by paying their service sincerely. Besides that, they are a lot of workers as what we can see fron the daily, being abused and cheated,but they are still working hard to survive in this society as well as to give their family basic needs. As catholics, we should always put those people in our prayer. We can seek the intercession from the St. Joseph. Nevertheless, he has set the good example to us too regarding how to be a good worker in the society as well as a good worker in God's work. So, please don't miss your prayer to St.Joseph, the one who God has chosen to be the Jesus' stepfather.

The Salvation

" Hey, why Jesus has to die on the cross?" This is the question that always being asked by non-Christian. How are we who as a sons and daughters of God going to answer them? Or do we know the answer and do we accept and truly believe in it. Brothers and sisters, the answer is through the Resurrection of Jesus and our action is the proof. Holy week is very important to us who as catholic to prepare ourselves to remember and to follow God's calling. During the Holy week, we are encouraged to fast and do more charity to rebuilt a good relationship between God and us. And now, Holy Week is over but what He did should remain on us and he is with us too. So as a reminder, the pictures below will be a way for us to reflect again what the Jesus has done to all the nation in the past, present and future.

Below is a little of His life stories starting from his fasting,I think this will a way for us to reflect ourselves with God.

During the trial,Jesus fasted for 40days.

Riding into Jerusalem

In fulfillment of prophecy (Isaiah 62:11 & Zechariah 9:9), Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. The crowds lined the street shouting "Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord." (Psalm 118:25-26) . People at that time thought that Jesus would come with a strong horse and soldiers to save them. Instead of it, he rode on a donkey with his feeble look deciples. They didn't know the actual meaning of salvation.

As they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had blessed, he broke it, and gave to them, and said, "Take, eat. This is my body." He took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave to them. They all drank of it. He said to them, "This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many. Most assuredly I tell you, I will no more drink of the fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it anew in the Kingdom of God." (Mark14:22-25)

Jesus washed the feet o his diciples

So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.(John13:11-15)

His Suffering

The body of our Lord was perfectly torn to shreds, it was but one wound. He looked at his torturers with his eyes filled with blood, as if entreating mercy; but their brutality appeared to increase, and his moans each moment became more feeble.

Crucifiction of Jesus

Although it was a poignant moment, it is also a moment of victory.Jesus is the sign of peace too and he is the true Savior of mankind. During his crucifixion, Jesus said to one of the repentant thief who was crucified with him: “Amen I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise. (Luke 23:24)

HAPPY EASTER DAY!!!

According to the Gospels, Jesus rose from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion.In accordance to Luke there were two angels (Luke 24:4), and according to Mark there was a youth dressed in white (Mark 16:5). In the last section of Mark(Mark 16:9-20), which is considered a later addition by most biblical scholars(see Mark 16), it states that on the morning of his resurrection, Jesus first appeared to Mary Magdalenee (Mark 16:9). John states that when Mary looked into the tomb, two angels asked her why she was crying; and as she turned round she initially failed to recognize Jesus until he spoke her name (John 20:11-18).

“Come, follow me.”Jesus said. How wonderful is this call and how beautiful and meaningful are his sacrifices. And how fortunate to have a chance to have an eternal life with him through his resurrection. 'Amen' is the word that we can say for all our faith.
